Meet The Artists

Rebecca Rousseau As a child in El Paso, and later a teacher on the border, Rebecca was drawn to the colorful Mexican toys and brightly colored culture drenched in the desert sun. John Darling I remember the first Earth Day.  I was with a group of other people picking up trash in Phoenix, Arizona at Encanto Park.  As we were toiling in the hot sun, people would drive by and laugh at the Hippies picking up garbage and then throw some more out for us to clean up.  We all smiled and flashed peace symbols at them.  I have been an environmental activist ever since that day.

Klattuu Klattuu has been watching humans from his starship and also coming down to interact and live with us in human form (often for Earthling lifetimes) for about 9 centuries Earth time.  His articles posted here,  shows us that if we go on the way we are going now, none of his friends from outer space will have to fly down and destroy us, we will quite handily destroy ourselves instead.  He is not related to Klaatu of Hollywood fame.
Michael Ray Bruce  Michael Ray Bruce is a contemporary artist living and painting in a studio in the Rossmor in St. Paul, Minnesota.  His work is colorful, often multi-medium, and over time has encompassed several themes, such as the sky and all it contains, almost-abstract flowers and creatures under a bright blue sea.  His paintings are frequent visitors to the walls of Twin City coffee shops, restaurants and small galleries.  To see more of his work and read more about him, visit his site at: www.michaelraybruce.com
Stephanie Lee I’m first-generation Korean-American and speak Spanish better than Korean.  I’m a native Southern California girl and learned the hard way that it really is nice living in Orange County.  I like to create and express myself in whatever way possible.  My passion is to take action in pursuing my dreams and following my heart.
Sandy Beyer Sandy Beyer (a.k.a.  Aunty Burr), will soon be introducing  a series of abstract artworks she appropriately calls FireArt.  Sandy was born in the windy city of Chicago and eventually blew her all the way out to Rockford, IL in the early 80's. Photographs of campfires soon turned into digitally altered, random mixes of abstract art. FireArt is like a box of chocolates, you never know what kind you'll get.
